Unfortunately, lawyers on occasion make mistakes which can cause you to lose your legal rights. Many times, clients do not even know that it was their own lawyer’s fault for losing a case or his or her legal rights. In most states, including both Kansas and Missouri, the laws provide that there is a limited time deadlines for a person to bring a legal claim. If a lawyer were to miss that time frame, he or she could be liable for legal malpractice and you may be entitled to compensation.
